This strangely not a post about price increases (that is strange!!) instead it's about an interruption to service from my end.
Unfortunately I've been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and from the beginning of next week (Tuesday 31st. March) I'll be starting a full month of Radio Therapy, one session a day every working day, so for very obvious reasons I will not be able to pack and send any Mylar orders until early May at the earliest, but I will keep you all up to date on any changes.
The one good thing about all this is it has been caught very early and the prognosis at this point is very good indeed.
Now what I am going to do with the website is close it down from about 6pm this coming Thursday (26th.), but it will still be visible but anyone trying to place an order will get an out of stock message. Any orders placed before that will be despatched on Friday the 27th.
I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause some of you, but as you will appreciate my attitude is TUFF!!!

This web store was set up by my wife in January 2013 to assist machine embroiderers and other crafts people source small quantities of materials which otherwise would only be available in bulk form.
Tragically she passed away suddenly at the beginning of March 2015 hence the reason for the shop being out of stock of some Mylar items for a long time. However, I promised her that I would not let the shop close so with a bit of backside kicking from some very good friends and support from you, our loyal customers I am back on track!
Mylar is our speciality and I am the sole U.K. distributor for this product, I import it from the U.S.A. and always strive to keep good stocks of every available colour.
The product prices were last increased in August 2022 and apart from the postage increases nothing has changed since then and whilst there is a possibility of a product increase later in 2024 for the moment there is no confirmation of this.
With all that’s going on in the world right now it’s impossible to predict how sales are going to go, but the one thing I can guarantee is that any price increase will be kept to the minimum possible, but the one sheet Mylar minimum order may have to be increased to five sheets purely for logistical reasons, but I’ll give as much notice as possible if that has to happen.
